Race Day Details

The Catalyst Challenge 5k and 10k will both start at 9:00 am.
The Kid's run will start shortly after.

Directions
The races are at Cook Park (16999 Southwest 92nd Avenue), Tigard, Oregon.
Here is the Google map. The "B" on the map is in sight of the start for the 5k and 10k.

Parking
Cook Park has numerous parking lots all close to the start of the events. The marker shown on the Google map (the "B") is in sight of the start for the 5k and 10k. When driving into the park, continuing to the end of the first parking lot on the left will be the closest to the finish line.

Packet Pickup
We will have race day packet pickup starting at 7:30 am for those that have pre-registered. If you would like to beat the rush of race day, packets will also be available at the Foot Traffic Lake Oswego (directions) from 5:30 to 6:30 pm on Friday October 16th.

Door Prizes
Everyone has a chance for a prize at our events. We will have a listing of the door prize winners at the post race food "buffet". Make sure to check for any winnings.

Race Day Registration
We will have race day registration for the 5k, 10k and Kid's run starting at 7:45 am. Race day registration will include race shirts (except for Kid's run) up to the first 200 registered participants.

Course Markings
Each mile will be indicated with a sign for both the 5k and 10k. Sign arrows, flags or cones will be at all intersections. Volunteers will be directing you as required.

Aid stations
There will be 2 aid stations out on the course. The first station is near mile 0.5 and 2.25 of the 5k and 10k course. The second aid station will be on the out and back of the course near mile 2.5 of both 5k and 10k and then mile 4 of the 10km. Water, Clif Bar Minis will be provided at first aid station. Water and Clif Bar Minis will be available for the 10k runners at the second aid station

Restrooms
The flush toilet facilities of the park will be open with several restrooms near the start and finish.

Clothes Drop
There is a covered picnic table area where you can store your warmup clothes etc. This area will not be patrolled so please use your discretion on what you leave unattended.

Race Results
Timing by Zornick is handling the race results and in the past we have had the results up on the web page by race day evening.

Race Awards
Race awards will go to the top two male and female athletes in the Open category. The top Masters will get awards and the top 3 in each age group will be recognized as well.
Every kid runner will receive a race bib, finishing ribbon and goodie bag.
